Why location matters

Why an end time may be tomorrow
A lunar segment can continue beyond midnight. Its end time includes the next date when needed. Daily values are evaluated at sunrise, while the end times mark the following transition.
What is calculated here?
Sun, Moon and planetary positions are calculated locally. Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana are derived from those positions. Traditional timing windows follow the stated weekday and daylight rules.

Daily values are calculated at local sunrise using Lahiri ayanamsa.
Card calendar: Amanta lunar months, lunar-month Ritu, Chaitradi Vikram and elapsed Kali years, and the Indian national Shaka year. Regional calendar conventions can differ.
